Siesta Key is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Siesta Key follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great free public pickleball courts with plenty of parking (at least this time of year). After a day at the beach (Wednesday 4pm in February) and before sunset & wine on the beach then dinner in Siesta Village, we went over to the courts to see if any were available - 3 were open. We enjoyed a few mostly evenly matched games with Michael and Jim.

The Siesta Key Tennis courts now have 6 pickleball courts and they are absolutely beautiful! We love heading out to play on an early morning or late evening. The courts are not covered so pack sunscreen and lots of water!
